Ugandans in the UK are racing against time to get tickets for the Ugandan Entertainment Awards in UK which are slated for this weekend. We don’t know what is causing the panic, but people are practically scrambling to get their hands on the tickets as early as possible.  

To meet the demand, we hear the organizers have started selling them online at the standard price of £12 a ticket. They are also available from all Salabed International branches. The 2nd  Ecomedia Awards event which is expected to be a very glamorous affair will be held at Club Volts, London, 169-171 Fore Street N18 2XB.

The event which has filled in the gap left by the closure of Sengo promotions which used to organize shows for the Ugandan entertainment fraternity in UK and Europe promised a lot of exclusive performances. Meanwhile, voting is still going on and all UK based musicians were warming up for the performances on the D-day. Below is a complete list of the nominees and their categories
