While other people convert to religions for political reasons, Omulangira Ssuuna (OS*) has converted to Islam for the noble reason; love. The singer converted from Christianity at the Kiyembe based mosque in Nakasero.
Our sources reveal that Ssuna succumbed to pressure from Aisha Sencha Sabwe's parents who demanded that he had to convert to the Islamic faith in order to get their blessing.
The singer assumed the names Shakur Abdul on his conversion. He was cautioned against taking the conversion lightly like fellow singer Jose Chameleone who converted for less than a month.
